Community Status

The Citiverse Council is an independent international professional community that brings together experts, organizations, businesses, academic institutions, public sector representatives, innovators, and civil society to collaborate on the future of the Citiverse, Smart Cities, Digital Twins, AI, and related technologies.

The Citiverse Council is not a legal entity at the global level. Where required, local chapters, clusters, or affiliated initiatives may operate under the laws and regulations of their respective countries and jurisdictions.

Independent Participation

Membership in the Citiverse Council is voluntary. All participants, including experts, ambassadors, partners, organizations, working groups, and community members, participate in their own professional capacity unless explicitly authorized to represent another organization.

Views, opinions, recommendations, publications, presentations, and statements expressed by individual members are solely those of their respective authors and do not necessarily reflect the official position of the Citiverse Council.

No Legal or Financial Responsibility

The Citiverse Council:

• is not responsible for the actions, decisions, conduct, or statements of its members, experts, ambassadors, partners, volunteers, or affiliated organizations;

• does not assume legal, financial, contractual, professional, or fiduciary responsibility for activities carried out by community participants;

• does not guarantee or endorse services, products, investments, projects, or business relationships offered by members or third parties;

• is not a party to agreements, contracts, negotiations, or transactions between community participants unless explicitly stated in writing.

Each participant remains fully responsible for complying with the laws, regulations, ethical standards, and professional obligations applicable in their own jurisdiction.

Professional Collaboration

The Citiverse Council serves as a collaborative platform for networking, knowledge exchange, innovation, research, education, and the development of best practices. Participation in the community does not create any employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or legal representative relationship between the Citiverse Council and its members.

Limitation of Liability

All information, publications, frameworks, recommendations, and resources provided by the Citiverse Council are intended for informational and educational purposes only. While reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy, the Citiverse Council makes no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any information.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Citiverse Council shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from the use of its website, publications, events, community activities, or reliance on information provided by the community.

Governing Law

Where applicable, legal matters relating to local operations or registered entities shall be governed by the laws of the country in which the relevant entity is established. International community participation does not create a single governing jurisdiction.
